A: You are allowed to miss 20% of a course. If a class meets once a week, you may miss 2 classes. If a class meets twice a week, you may miss 5 classes. If a class meets three times a week, you may miss 8 classes. However, bear in mind it is possible that some professors may have more stringent attendance policies.
